In-School Advertising is a new innovative concept that encourages businesses to advertise their products and services to parents, students, and school employees.
In many schools, advertising has been going on for years, though it’s been unstructured and informal, based on the individual school and principal’s discretion. Advertising in schools on banners, signage, newsletters, yearbook ads, and other venues have been commonplace in many schools. But now, school districts are taking a much more active role in encouraging businesses to advertise on school district websites and other more structured venues because they are so desperate for funding during these difficult economic times.
This new “school ads” concept is a win-win for both the schools and for the businesses since it provides a direct method for businesses to advertise their products and services directly to parents, students, and school employees.
School Partnerships was created to manage the advertising programs for the school districts. School Partnerships always keeps the best interest of students in mind and would never allow any advertising that would be detrimental to them. All advertisements must be pre-approved by the school district.
