Nancy Holman is passionate about supporting students, teachers, schools, and education.
School Partnerships LLC was founded in 2009 by Nancy Holman as a way to raise additional funding for public schools, while at the same time, help businesses increase exposure to school employees, students and parents through in-school advertising. In 2011, School Partnerships was awarded an exclusive contract to solicit and manage advertising contracts for the Volusia County School District websites. And in 2012, School Partnerships expanded into the Flagler Public School District.
Nancy Lazarus Holman graduated with honors from Georgia Tech with an engineering degree. She worked for General Electric for 13 years in their Management Training Program and was exposed to all facets of business as she worked her way up the management chain – manufacturing, quality assurance, business development, strategic planning, finance, and program management, with a strong concentration on sales and marketing. Nancy was fortunate enough to be trained biannually at the world renowned GE Management College in Crotonville, NY.
She spent the last 15 years working within the Volusia County School System in many leadership positions. She was Chair of Citizens for Excellent Schools where she led the successful campaign to increase the sales tax by a half-penny to improve and build new schools throughout Volusia County.This initiative is expected to raise about $400 Million for Volusia County Schools over 15 years.
Her passion and commitment to improving and enriching the community is evident in her involvement in other area organizations. She served as Chair of the Ormond Beach Chamber Education Committee for 3 years where she led a dynamic group of business leaders who implemented innovative programs for students including Day of Technology, Arrive Alive, Recycle For Reading, One Book One Community, and Teacher of the Quarter.
Nancy also attended the Daytona Leadership Class and was very active on many committees and advocacy groups where she held leadership positions to improve education and maximize the benefits for students in Volusia County Schools. She chaired the Superintendent’s Ad Hoc Community Cadre where she led the efforts of a group of prominent business leaders and raised $100,000 to save JV Sports and Academic & Performing Arts events, which were scheduled to be cut due to the severe budget crisis.
She is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the American Advertising Federation and is a member of many chambers including the Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce, Port Orange-South Daytona Chamber of Commerce, Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce, Deland Chamber of Commerce and the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of Tiger Bay.
Nancy is enthusiastic about increasing funding for Volusia & Flagler County Schools through this new, innovative “advertising in schools” concept which will mutually benefit both students and businesses through a win-win partnership for all involved parties.

Debi Brand, Account Manager – Volusia East
Debi is excited to be a part of the School Partnerships team. A seasoned professional, Debi has years of sales, marketing, and advertising experience working with Bullseye Direct Marketing, Volusia/Flagler Business Report, and the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report. Debi is active in many organizations including Volusia/Flagler United Way’s Women’s Initiative and the American Advertising Federation of Daytona Beach where she serves on the Boards of Directors. Debi enjoys spreading the word about School Partnerships’ innovative advertising venue and helping businesses grow while aiding our schools at the same time.

John Yovich, Account Manager – Flagler
John comes from a family of educators and spent his entire career as a school psychologist in various settings, most recently with the Flagler School District. His dedication to education is seen in having been a chapter president of a professional educational fraternity whose main tenet is “service.” John sees his new position as a natural outgrowth of a lifetime devoted to helping students and supporting the schools. Lastly, as a proud new grandparent of a four-year-old granddaughter and an infant grandson, he believes the “littlest feet make the biggest footprints in our hearts.”

Leslie LaRue, Child Advocate – West Volusia
Leslie joined the School Partnerships team when she learned that her passion for education could benefit local businesses and our public schools simultaneously. She earned her B.A. in Music from a private liberal arts college in Illinois and still has a love for the arts to this day. Recognizing the importance of the arts in our education system, Leslie has committed herself to sharing her great love of academics with her community. She has been an active volunteer for Volusia County Schools since 2004 and has served as PTO President and PTSA President of her children’s schools. She was also named “Volunteer of the Year” at those elementary and middle schools. She was recently elected to serve as Vice Chair of the Volusia County Schools District Advisory Committee. Leslie is a member of the DeLand Area Chamber of Commerce.

Kay Galloway, Graphic Artist
Kay is from Nashville, TN and had worked in the advertising field for more than 20 years. After graduating from Savannah College of Art & Design, her design talents have been utilized in various businesses including an ad agency, a publishing house, in-house marketing, and in tourism. She has worked with major brands like Sea Island: The Cloister, NASCAR, Shutterbug, Barrett-Jackson, and Daytona Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau. She is a mother of two and is active in AAF (American Advertising Federation) Daytona Beach chapter and serves on PTA. The pinnacle of her career is when she received the Silver Medal award from her AAF peers. She enjoys creating art, gardening, and traveling with her family.

Position: School Partnerships Account Manager (1099 Independent Contractor)
School Partnerships was awarded an exclusive contract to sell and manage advertising on the Volusia & Flagler County School District websites. This is a new win-win initiative which raises much needed funds for our schools while at the same time allows businesses to promote products and services directly to Volusia & Flagler County parents, students and employees.
The school district websites and the ads get over 4,000,000 views per month as parents, students, and teachers go online daily to check grades, assignments, and attendance records.
School Partnerships is seeking dynamic, self-motivated salespeople to call on businesses to sell advertising on the Volusia & Flagler County School District websites. The applicant shall be an independent contractor and will set their own work schedule and work from their home. Successful applicants shall be professional, dependable, trustworthy, self-motivated, friendly, and enthusiastic.
Compensation will be commission-based however the income potential is unlimited.
